Paranormal Activity
by Indrid Cold on Nov.15, 2009, under Movies
A while ago I got bored of the same things that you see in horror movies so I pretty much stopped watching them anymore. But this changed after seeing ” Paranormal Activity “. All I can say is that I was tearing my eye balls out and was scared shitless by the time it finished. What makes this movie stand out is that it’s more of a home-video-” Blair Witch “-type film with a very limited cast and pretty much unknown actors. Even their names are the same with the ones in the movie. Anyway, I won’t give you any hints about the story line because I think it’s best you guys watch it and hopefully get the same mind numbing feeling I got, seeing it without reading about it.
8.5 for being original in every way imaginable and very well made with only $ 15 000.
* hell that was terrifying to watch *
Gripa porcină şi isteria în masă.
by Indrid Cold on Nov.07, 2009, under Stuff
Din păcate, ” common sense is not so common “.

Technical info
by Indrid Cold on Aug.24, 2009, under Photo
In this post we’ll cover the basic technical things you should know about your camera, like ISO, aperture, shutter speed and lens types. You should always keep in mind that only combining different values of them you’ll be able to get ahead and have a proper understanding how your camera works.
First of all, we’ll start out with a little history lesson. The fist permanent photographs were made in the early 1800’s by Joseph Niepce by using a sliding wooden box camera. It used a mixture of silver and chalk that got darker after exposing it to light. A very similar process is used in today’s cams with the help of an image sensor that captures light and transforming it into an electrical signal.

Selective photography
by Indrid Cold on Aug.19, 2009, under Photo, Stuff
Since the dawn of the digital camera, people have made a habit of taking loads of shots, trying to work their way to that one shot that could make the difference between a pro and a rookie. That wasn’t the case with film photography, since you had a limited amount of shots you could take ( that if you couldn’t afford buying and developing loads of films ) until you were out. So you judged carefully every step you took, every angle, the light, exposure and of course what lens should you use. It was more of a science than an art.

Top 10 photography tips
by Indrid Cold on Aug.14, 2009, under Photo
Many people who start out with photography don’t have a clear understanding of what should they actually create or do to improve their style, so to clear out some of the issues that may interfere I’ve thought out some tips to help others.
1: Always plan ahead. You can’t just go out with a camera and hope for that perfect picture to show up on your display so always try to have a clear picture of what you want your photograph to look like. Try finding inspiration in little things, in details, in patterns until you see something that you may like.
