A while ago I got bored of the same things that you see in horror movies so I pretty much stopped watching them anymore. But this changed after seeing ” Paranormal Activity “. All I can say is that I was tearing my eye balls out and was scared shitless by the time it finished. What makes this movie stand out is that it’s more of a home-video-” Blair Witch “-type film with a very limited cast and pretty much unknown actors. Even their names are the same with the ones in the movie. Anyway, I won’t give you any hints about the story line because I think it’s best you guys watch it and hopefully get the same mind numbing feeling I got, seeing it without reading about it.

8.5 for being original in every way imaginable and very well made with only $ 15 000.

I’ve seen this movie yesterday. It’s not the usual horror movie that include a dumb blond girl with big tits that runs all over the place screaming. I’m happy that I’ve seen a different approach to horror movies which have become kind of boring lately, all following the same blueprint (happy teenage group arrives at the scene, crazy guy/evil spirit/mutant whatever starts killing happy teenage group (lots of blood/gore/brains included in this step) and then there is a fight between a guy in group and the evil whatever, the good side wins and the guy leaves with the dumb blond girl with big tits and live happily ever after. No. This is not the case with Dead Silence. It has the evil spirit / local legend stuff in it but the plot is well written and does not fall in the standard horror movie category.
The best time to see this movie is at night with a pair of good headphones and the lights turned off, it will give you the chills.

 This is by far the best series I have ever watched. So far it has 2 seasons and the second one got to episode 4 which is very very interesting. The producers are doing a great job with this series, every episode brings new stuff but at the same time raises more and more questions that keep the viewer waiting for the next episode.
 I can’t wait for the next episode. In episode 4 finally I got confirmation about what is one of the characters (I suspected that since episode 2) but what exactly that is and what and why it does the things it does are new questions that have to be answered
