Flying weekend

Finally I was in the mood to assemble my plane which I bought in May. Four hours later the work was done, the plane assembled and the batteries charged, ready to face its long career of flying.
On Sunday morning we went to Popricani, a village about 20 kilometers away from Iasi, where the fun began. The maiden flight was more than ok, the motor providing more than sufficient thrust for the plane. Then we went up the hill and flew again. About 10 minutes into the second flight I had my first mid air collision with another plane. No major damage to any of the planes but mine was left without the motor, prop and mount. It took about 30 minutes to find the motor in the grass but the propeller was never found. Some Poxipol and an hour or so later and the plane was back in the air. This time with a smaller propeller but it still flew ok.
Next week the plane will get some upgrades and will fly again.
